Built by Fleming and Ferguson in 1941, Montbretia was amongst a number of warships given to the Norwegian Navy by the United Kingdom. Used mainly in the North Atlantic as convoys, these warships carried out around 80 attacks against U-boats, until Montbretia was torpedoed on November 18th, 1942.
