Built in 1997, by Damen Shipyards of Netherlands, MCS Elly is a Dredge helper, which was acquired by Maritime Craft Services from its parent company in February 2002. Predominantly used for rough operations on sea, the raised bow section makes MCS more suitable than a conventional Multi-cat.
MCS Elly features a bollard pull of 16.5 tonnes, foredeck crane of 140 tonne on the bow and a 70 tonne aft deck crane. The boat measures at a length of 25.37 meters, breadth of 9.5 meters, draft of 2.5 meters and an average speed of 9.5 knots. All these features have made MCS Elly a truly versatile vessel and performer for dredging management work.
